Join Mike DeMotta, the Curator of Living Collections at National Tropical Botanical Garden, for a talk about Loulu. Loulu is the only palm genus native to the Hawaiian Islands. They have been recorded as far up the Hawaiian Island chain as Laysan Island. During this talk story, he will discuss native loulu palms, why they have become rare, and present images of them in their native habitat.
