Meet Patrick Ching and learn about Hawaiian monk seals, sea turtles, sharks, and rare birds in their native ecosystems as depicted through Patrick’s art as a wildlife artist and author. Patrick’s previous work experience with U.S Fish and Wildlife at the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, extended periods of time on the remote northwestern Hawaiian Islands (now known as Papahānaumokuākea), and ongoing research, provide the foundation for his sought after detailed wildlife paintings, murals, TV series (Painting in Paradise), and children’s books and songs.

Thomas Daubert, Executive Director for Friends of Kauaʻi National Wildlife Refuge will be there with art prints by Patrick Ching, as well as his books which include The Hawaiian Monk Seal, Sea turtles of Hawaiʻi, and The Story of Hina, a children’s book about the first seal pup born on Kauaʻi in modern times.
