Patrick’s previous work experience with U.S Fish and Wildlife at the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge\, extended periods of time on the remote northwestern Hawaiian Islands (now known as Papahānaumokuākea)\, and ongoing research\, provide the foundation for his sought after detailed wildlife paintings\, murals\, TV series (Painting in Paradise)\, and children’s books and songs. \nThomas Daubert\, Executive Director for Friends of Kauaʻi National Wildlife Refuge will be there with art prints by Patrick Ching\, as well as his books which include The Hawaiian Monk Seal\, Sea turtles of Hawaiʻi\, and The Story of Hina\, a children’s book about the first seal pup born on Kauaʻi in modern times.
